People tracking system Lugo Red Cross
Av. de Madrid, Lugo. 982 231 613
LoPe is a service for family members and caregivers of persons with mild cognitive impairment or disability. It enables the person to stay in the family environment and facilitates the work of the usual caregiver. In case of need it provides immediate attention with geolocation by GPS device.
How does locating people work?
The service is based on the use of a device that allows the localization of people with mild cognitive impairment in their movements outside the home.
The relative or caregiver is in charge of putting and removing the device that loaded and on automatically sends the position every 3 minutes.
The users are limited to carry the device in their exits from the home and it is the relatives and / or caregivers who access the locations.
It is a small terminal that has a very sensitive GPS, so it does not lose coverage in the interior of vehicles, narrow streets or places closed. The equipment is lightweight, small in size, which fits the trouser loops or similar fastenings. In addition, the terminal automatically notifies the Contact Center when the battery is about to run out, proceeding from there to notify carers
How is the alarm activated?
The system allows the configuration of alarms in and out of established danger or safety areas, speed alarms, and maps with personalized references.
It is activated if there is a need to locate the person or in case the terminal sends an automatic announcement, without the need to press any button.
