The objective of these teams is to attend in a specialized way the needs of the people affected by an emergency situation and / or crisis.
These units provide a specialized and immediate response to the victims, relatives, and relatives of those affected by emergencies or catastrophes. It can intervene in natural disasters, terrorist actions, or any other scenario that causes personal or material losses such as an air or traffic accident.
This service is managed from the Regional Coordination Center de of Galicia Red Cross (Coruña).
Psychosocial Emergency: prepared to provide psychological and social support after an emergency, which is made up of psychologists, social workers and first responders.
Provisional Shelter: qualified to provide accommodation in a facility up to a maximum of one hundred people and formed by personnel prepared in the logistics and social management of the shelter.
A member of the Red Cross Canine Unit. The objective of the ERIE canine unit is to find missing persons in any environment and circumstance, whether in specific situations or in major natural disasters.
